Music

Music is an expression of one's self. Whether you play an instrument, sing a song or write the lyrics. Music is a way one can express themselves. Music is like emotion. Everyone feels differently when they hear a song, and every song can be interpreted in many different ways. I love classic rock. I think that the lyrics and passion artists had for music back then is astonishing. They sang songs to make a difference. And not only were they beautiful songs, but they were songs that everyone can relate to. Music is a way to escape. when you are sad or happy, excited or scared there is music out there to fill your soul. I think everyone needs music and to starve yourself of music, well thats blasphemy! I would like to say teh song Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix is an amazing song. I personally feel that the song is about the fact that he is so in love with a girl she makes him feel as if hes on drugs, but my friend thinks that he is singing about when he was on drugs and is imagining a girl. Either way a song that can be interpreted in different ways is an amazing song in my books.
